Our security management team and retail security supervisors know the importance of having effective security measures in place.
Losses through shoplifting in some cases can be as high as 5% of sales revenue.
The three security measures most commonly used to minimise this loss are:
- Retail security guards
- Security Tagging
- CCTV Systems
- Manned Guarding
While all three deter and detect theft, only manned guarding is able to recover losses, and makes the prospect of prosecution for the perpetrator an immediate reality.
We are also the last line of defence.
We are able to supply and install CCTV systems and security tagging systems. They work in tandem with our retail security guards and help us to do our job better.
Often alarms go off at the shop exit, staff and guards are bewildered, unsure of the cause or the response. Our retail guards are trained on these security tagging systems
so they know how to identify the cause of every alarm. We recommend dome (Pan Tilt and Zoom) cameras as they have many advantages over the conventionally fixed camera,
we have found them to be most effective. A dome PTZ camera can often take place of up to 6 fixed cameras.
